Right Now
As a North Carolina native, I am truly Tar Heel born and Tar Heel bred. I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I studied Advertising and Public Relations as well as Hispanic Literatures and Cultures and Composition, Rhetoric and Digital Literacy. While I wish I could stay in Chapel Hill, my Southern Part of Heaven, forever, I currently reside in Raleigh where I am a Junior Account Executive at G&S Business Communications on the Syngenta account.

Looking Toward the Future
I am primarily interested in entering the technology and software industry as a marketing professional, specifically for businesses within the software as a service model. I believe marketers are who truly capture consumer insights and drive business performance. Summer 2019 I worked at a relatively new startup. Due to the size of the company, the marketing team was made up of less than five people. This meant that everyone had knowledge of various techniques and was active in all parts of the marketing pipeline. For the first few years after graduation, I hope to work in a similar environment in order to enhance my skills in various marketing types, like content marketing, inbound marketing, lead nurturing and more. I am most interested in digital marketing. I appreciate digital marketing techniques like search engine optimization, search engine marketing and pay-per-click advertising because it provides quantitative reasoning behind effective strategies. I see myself being successful in this field because I recognize the importance of audience research and am ready to learn more about how to use this information to create a company that grows with its consumers.
