Innovate Carolina

While with Innovate Carolina, I’ve managed all social media accounts and posted nearly daily on all channels: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. With a dedication to content themes and consistent follower interaction, I’ve grown our Instagram following by almost 300 and our LinkedIn following with an average of about 12 follows a month. I primarily utilize Hootsuite to schedule and create postings.

Carolina Union Activities Board

In addition to in-person advertising and creative marketing events, I also managed the Carolina Union Activities Board’s social media accounts, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Most posts advertised the organization’s weekly events, of which there were usually up to six, meaning I posted multiple times a day on each channel. I primarily used Buffer to schedule and create postings.

Durham Children’s Initiative

My work with Durham Children’s Initiative was in collaboration with my Digital and Multimedia Composition class. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, DCI wanted to help parents and guardians continue to educate and entertain their children amidst stay at home orders. As a result, we created interactive activities and associated social media posts for all of their channels: Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
